D.6 Contents

Contents feature allows, primarily for the in-house Admin(s) - not the staff, to manage contents in the Homework-Buddy web app. 

I. Homework-Buddy wordings

Wordings that are available here can be translated, and supports for more than one input (array). They will be displayed randomly to the users when multiple wordings are provided for a single topic.

The wordings topics are what the homework-buddy will say (randomly, if provided more than one)

  • Intro: the greeting on the landing page (after logging in).
  • Check-in happy: when users choose "happy" after checked in.
  • Check-in optimistic: when users choose "optimistic" after checked in.
  • Check-in stressed: when users choose "stressed" after checked in.
  • Check-in angry: when users choose "angry" after checked in.
  • Check-in feeling down: when users choose "feeling down" after checked in.
  • Check-in feeling afraid / sad: when users choose "afraid / sad" after checked in.
  • New assignment: greeting (or tips) when users choose the new assignment feature.
  • View assignment: greeting (or tips) when users view the existing assignment.
  • Finished assignment: when users finished an assignment.
  • Home-board greetings: greeting (or tips) when users visited the home-board.
  • Project-board greetings: greeting (or tips) when users visited any project-board.

II. Timeout activities

Timeout activities are managed contents that students can pick when they choose "timeout". Example for the activities: Atmung, Journaling, Tapping, and so on. The content editor fields are:

  • Icon: select and upload the appropriate icon (preferred SVG or vector image).
  • Short title: will be used as button's text, e.q. during check-in or timeout-island.
  • Title: the actual title (longer version) when the activity content is being shown.
  • Body: rich text editor to build the main content of this activity.
  • Background color: customizable background color when content is being displayed.
  • Check-in types: select one or more check-in types this activity belongs to (happy, optimistic, etc).
