C.2 Onboarding

The onboarding process will automatically be triggered during student's initial sign in (just one time). The process consists of several stages as follows:

1. Fill Student's Profile (optional)

This step is optional - only when parent's allow their children to update their children's own profile, the "Schülerprofil anlegen" page will be shown. They will have their original data filled by their parent and edit them manually, if needed.

2. Select Homework-Buddy

Student can pick one out of several predefined homework buddies. They can change them later on the Settings page.

3. Select App's Theme

Students can choose the UI appearance they prefer - for now we will use the base theme but later it should be extended into at least the following: 

• Rainbows, smiley faces, hearts: mostly suitable for elementary school students

• Dinosaurs, rockets, space: suitable for elementary and middle school students

• Neutral: suitable for middle and high school students

4. Set Study Time

Student can set their preferred weekly study time to prevent stress when they have to study all before tests.
